Meet Antonio and Jose. They live in Porto Cristo, Spain where Jose works as a Nurse and Antonio is a Teacher. They met 7 years ago in the summer at a dinner one of their relatives organized so they could meet. They can't wait to become parents!

Quick overview on a few things you need to know about becoming a surrogate in Canada

  • You must be a female of 21-49 years of age

  • Have delivered one or more child(ren) of your own

  • Have experienced healthy pregnancies and births

  • Lead a healthy lifestyle and be physically/mentally healthy in general

Surrogates in Canada are: 

  • Reimbursed all of their expenses. (average $20,000-30,000)

  • Can apply for 15 weeks of maternity leave (if eligible)

  • Have independent legal representation and a legal contract

  • Will travel to the Intended Parents clinic - all costs covered
