Meet Baldip and Simrat! They live in Toronto, ON where Baldip is a Reporting and Analytics Manager and Simrat is a Program Administrator. They have always dreamt of becoming parents, however health challenges changed their path to parenthood. Valuing communication, family and openness, Simrat and Baldip look forward to a comfortable, organically grown relationship with their Surrogate. Baldip and Simrat's families are fully supportive of the couples path to Parenthood, and all eagerly await the arrival of their baby.

"We have always wanted to be parents. Our focus was on Simrat's health for the last three years, and now we can focus on our family. We have our parents and siblings who are fully supportive of our decision to pursue surrogacy. It was actually Baldip's parents who brought up the idea to us.

They are of course looking forward to a baby at the end but do understand that this will be a long journey where both parties have to choose each other and make sure we are the right fit."

Quick overview on a few things you need to know about becoming a surrogate in Canada: 

  • You must be a female of 21-49 years of age

  • Have delivered one or more child(ren) of your own

  • Have experienced healthy pregnancies and births

  • Lead a healthy lifestyle and be physically/mentally healthy in general

Surrogates in Canada are: 

  • Reimbursed all of their expenses. (average $20,000-30,000)

  • Can apply for 15 weeks of maternity leave (if eligible)

  • Have independent legal representation and a legal contract

  • Will travel to the Intended Parents clinic - all costs covered

Intended parents are people that cannot have children without your help. We have intended parents all over the world that are waiting for you. YOU could be the one that helps them have their dream of a family!
