Jonas and Stef

Meet Jonas and Stef. They live in Antwerp Belgium where Jonas works as a Lead Process Engineer and Stef is a Pharmacist. They played in the same orchestra since they were young and this is where they met and became friends. Their friendship blossomed into true love! They've wanted to be parents since very early in their relationship.

Quick overview on a few things you need to know about becoming a surrogate in Canada: 

• You must be a female of 21-49 years of age

• Have delivered one or more child(ren) of your own

• Have experienced healthy pregnancies and births

• Lead a healthy lifestyle and be physically/mentally healthy in general

Surrogates in Canada are: 

• Reimbursed all of their expenses. (average $20,000-30,000)

• Can apply for 15 weeks of maternity leave (if eligible)

• Have independent legal representation and a legal contract

• Will travel to the Intended Parents clinic - all costs covered
