Gwynn and Kenzo

Meet Gwynn and Kenzo from Ghent, Belgium. Gwynn works as a Social Worker and Kenzo as a Sales Manager. They met through shared friends at a housewarming and have been together 10 years now! They've always dreamed of raising a beautiful family!

"We decided 2 years ago to start this journey because it is imprinted in our DNA, it's something you just know without words. We feel in every fiber of our body that we want children, that we want to raise a little human being and guide it along the way and give it all the opportunities and love it deserves. Our dream is that we one day see a mini Gwynn and a mini Kenzo at the breakfast table. We also think it will be nice for our children to have cool dads like us ;)"

Quick overview on a few things you need to know about becoming a surrogate in Canada: 

• You must be a female of 21-49 years of age

• Have delivered one or more child(ren) of your own

• Have experienced healthy pregnancies and births

• Lead a healthy lifestyle and be physically/mentally healthy in general

Surrogates in Canada are: 

• Reimbursed all of their expenses. (average $20,000-30,000)

• Can apply for 15 weeks of maternity leave (if eligible)

• Have independent legal representation and a legal contract

• Will travel to the Intended Parents clinic - all costs covered
