Sergi and Vicente

 

Meet Sergi and Vicente. They live in Barcelona, Spain where Vicente works as a Marketing and Graphic Design Manager and Sergi is an IT Teacher. They met in a bar and it was love at first sight because they have so many things in common, two of those being design and photography.

Quick overview on a few things you need to know about becoming a surrogate in Canada: 

  • You must be a female of 21-49 years of age

  • Have delivered one or more child(ren) of your own

  • Have experienced healthy pregnancies and births

  • Lead a healthy lifestyle and be physically/mentally healthy in general

Surrogates in Canada are: 

  • Reimbursed all of their expenses. (average $20,000-30,000)

  • Can apply for 15 weeks of maternity leave (if eligible)

  • Have independent legal representation and a legal contract

  • Will travel to the Intended Parents clinic - all costs covered
