Meet Andreas and Michael. They live in Vienna where Andreas works as a Consultant and Michael is an Interior Designer. They met after Andreas returned from spending 2 years in New York - a friend wanted to introduce them but they met online first! They've been together for 15 years and can't wait to share their lives with a child of their own!

Quick overview on a few things you need to know about becoming a surrogate in Canada: 

  • You must be a female of 21-49 years of age

  • Have delivered one or more child(ren) of your own

  • Have experienced healthy pregnancies and births

  • Lead a healthy lifestyle and be physically/mentally healthy in general

Surrogates in Canada are: 

  • Reimbursed all of their expenses. (average $20,000-30,000)

  • Can apply for 15 weeks of maternity leave (if eligible)

  • Have independent legal representation and a legal contract

  • Will travel to the Intended Parents clinic - all costs covered
