Nick and Tanmeet

Meet Nick and Tanmeet! They live in Edmonton, AB where Nick works as a Citizen Services Representative for the City and Tanmeet works as a Finance Manager. Tanmeet had to get a partial hysterectomy in 2017 prior to their wedding due to a very large fibroid. Luckily, the surgeons were able to save the ovaries and Nick and Tanmeet have been able to create embryos. They would love to have a child through surrogacy but also are looking at adoption to further expand their family after completing their journey with surrogacy.

“Both of us have always wanted to have children since before we even knew each other! Once we began dating we always joked that our children would be like little 's'mores' (a mix of our skin colours) and always planned what traditions we would make as a family one day.

We have so much love to give that we would want to pass that on to our children and take everything we have learned from our families and use it to make our children's lives that much better.”
