Meet Christophe and Denis. They live in Belgium where Denis works as an Industrial Maintenance Manager and Christophe works as a Language Teacher at a Primary School. They met 10 years ago at a party with mutual friends and describe it as love at first sight! It is their dream to welcome children and create a lovely family.

Quick overview on a few things you need to know about becoming a surrogate in Canada: 

  • You must be a female of 21-49 years of age

  • Have delivered one or more child(ren) of your own

  • Have experienced healthy pregnancies and births

  • Lead a healthy lifestyle and be physically/mentally healthy in general

Surrogates in Canada are: 

  • Reimbursed all of their expenses. (average $20,000-30,000)

  • Can apply for 15 weeks of maternity leave (if eligible)

  • Have independent legal representation and a legal contract

  • Will travel to the Intended Parents clinic - all costs covered
