Meet Ankit and Megha! They live in Mississauga, ON. where Ankit works as a Barrister and Solicitor, and Megha is a Software Engineer. They have been trying for a second child for the last 5 years, and after experiencing many failed transfers and miscarriages, have turned to surrogacy to continue building their family. They would be so thankful to find a surrogate who is willing to help them.

Quick overview on a few things you need to know about becoming a surrogate in Canada: 

  • You must be a female of 21-49 years of age

  • Have delivered one or more child(ren) of your own

  • Have experienced healthy pregnancies and births

  • Lead a healthy lifestyle and be physically/mentally healthy in general

Surrogates in Canada are: 

  • Reimbursed all of their expenses. (average $20,000-30,000)

  • Can apply for 15 weeks of maternity leave (if eligible)

  • Have independent legal representation and a legal contract

  • Will travel to the Intended Parents clinic - all costs covered
