Brian and Heather

Meet Brian and Heather! They live in Woodstock, GA where Heather works for a Nonprofit children's charity and Brian is a Journalist. They met in high school and have spent most of their time since devoted to children through teaching and mentorship. The couple founded a children’s charity in the north Atlanta area. The charity provides Christmas gifts, school supplies and support to hundreds of foster and low-income children. Heather has multiple autoimmune conditions which affected her ability to get and maintain pregnancy. The couple has had a total of 7 IVF cycles and multi devastating miscarriages. In 2014, they welcomed their son Joshua into the world after a difficult pregnancy involving multiple emergency surgeries while pregnant. Because of Heather’s health problems, Joshua struggled to grow and still has problems with his teeth due to pregnancy complications. After another loss, Brian and Heather welcomed Solomon into their family in 2018. While this pregnancy went smoother, the doctor told them at the delivery that it would be life threatening to try to carry again. They were advised to pursue surrogacy with their remaining embryo.

“We most look forward to meeting a special angel that will help us complete our family. Getting to know her, traveling to Canada, and hopefully (if she wants) to build a lifelong relationship.”
