The Surrogate Social: Our Alberta Surrogacy Community

 

Last Saturday, February 24th, our team had the honour of gathering in person with numerous members of our surrogacy community. Women from across Alberta came together in Calgary, along with their families, to connect, share stories, and discuss all things surrogacy.

One of the cornerstones of our agency is its focus on community. Belonging to a community is important in life, it offers us a chance to feel a part of something greater. For moms, this sense of togetherness can be a lifeline in a world that can sometimes feel quite lonely.

When it comes to surrogacy, we know that importance is tenfold, which is why our founder created more than just an agency, she created a village. A village that prioritizes women supporting women, moms supporting moms, and surrogates supporting surrogates.

We see so much value in nurturing the connections within our surrogacy village. Feeling close to and supported by those who truly understand what you are going through is a key aspect of a positive surrogacy journey, and being able to connect face-to-face is even better!
